Welcome to the virtual exhibit of Jack Hannula's paintings. Jack paints a blend of stately neoclassicism with an overlay of soft, French Impressionism, primarily in a refined, en plein air style of color and light. His colorful paintings portray architectural space, depth, and life. His current painting includes diverse and vibrant "city-scenes" of cafes, restaurants and street life in Washington, DC. He travels extensively and paints noteworthy scenes in both urban and rural settings, from the French countryside to the New England coast and New Mexico's high mountain desert.
